S Baggers is a ‘waiterless’ restaurant
Here’s something that’s a total demonstration of a world that’s ripped apart by an economic slowdown. This German restaurant – S Baggers by name – works well enough without any waiters. There are two sides to this technological leap. Firstly, it’s awesome since it saves a lot of money paid by the means of wages to waiters. It also shows how coolly food can be transferred directly to the customer’s table, directly from the kitchen, after being picked over on a touch screen display that’s available on the guests table. This screen is connected to the Internet; hence you have ample things to do while your food’s being cooked.
Secondly, this can lead to sad results like lack of employment in the restaurant sector and even worse, no tips to get rid of all the change.
