Roku Streaming Stick serves as MHL dongle
by Gareth MankooMobile High Definition Link (MHL) ports have long been known to be the ultimate add-ones to cellphones. Now with the Roku Streaming Stick you can connect to the MHL port in HDMI devices. The device also manages to pack Wi-Fi connectivity into its tiny being. This enables TV manufacturers to have their TVs sold as regular models and then be upgraded to smart TVs. The greatest advantage is the small form-factor of a device as useful as this.
The price of the Roku Streaming Stick isn’t known as yet. It may be available as a stand-alone or as part of a larger package that may well include HDTVs. Why not?
