Remote Control Golf Ball Creates Havoc
by Dhiram ShahWe are a family of avid golfers, but I guess I’m the black sheep that just doesn’t understand her Tigers from Woods! So the last time my brother could not stop gloating about his handicap and par records (which BTW is all gibberish to me) I took him on a challenge. The only difference was that I was well prepared. We went about the course as usual. For a bit of the holes he was in the lead, till I did a switch. Lo and Behold! All his shots (or is it Tees) stared going haywire. The golf ball would spin off to the left when he hit it straight. Oh God…what a sight it was to see him fuming over his Tees! I’m sure he did not figure out the prank that I played on him. Well that trip shut him up good. At least till he checks out this blog and the secret revealed. I used the remote control golf ball to add a bit of fun to the game. The ball has a little spinning gyro in it, and when you activate it from the remote it spins off in random directions.
All you need to do is make sure you’ve completely charged the golf ball in its charging cradle, switch on the transmitter, and select the frequency band shown on the ball. Push or pull back the control shaft on the transmitter to drive or vibrate your golf ball and wait for the inevitable laughs. The acceleration varies depending on the ground, and works best on smoother surfaces such as green and tees. Needless to say, the Remote Control Golf Ball should not go anywhere near sand or through water or snow. Good laughs available for just $34.99. BTW brother, you are good at golf! (Desperately trying to patch up lest he pounds me!)
