Qantas Airlines to provide Boeing 767 passengers in-flight entertainment with content-packed iPads

by Gavril Mankoo

We’ve recently brought you tidings of Qantas Airlines ditching BlackBerry devices for the Apple iPhone. The Australian airliner seems pretty well-pleased with Apple’s technology and has now roped in iPads to provide entertainment for its passengers travelling on its Boeing 767 fleet. Every passenger on the Qantas Airlines Boeing 767 will be provided with an iPad for entertainment while travelling with Panasonic’s eXW Wi-Fi system that will provide access to 40 full-length films and 100 short subjects and loads of music, digital magazines and newspapers with cached web content to top it all! Rest assured, those choosing to travel with Qantas are bound to have entertaining journeys with these tablet-based in-flight entertainment systems being provided by the fourth quarter of 2012.
