Porsche is all set to give the hybrid car industry some remarkable benchmark with yet another offering by the name of Panamera S Hybrid. This sedan will pack in a combined 380 horsepower that will let the driver go upto 2 mph in six seconds flat and eventually to a top speed of 168 mph. it borrows the power train of 3.0-litre supercharged 245 kW V6 plus a 34 kW electric motor from its former sibling Cayenne S Hybrid and offers an efficient fuel consumption efficiency of 6.8 l/100 km (NEDC) with CO2 emissions of 159 g/km. With this car, Porsche now has as much as 6 variants of its sedan. This will carry a price tag of £86,146 in the UK owing to Britain’s humongous VAT rates, and somewhere close to US$95000 in the United States. It will first up for a public display at the Geneva Motor show which is scheduled to take place next month.
