Polaroid unveils Z2300 Digital Camera capable of printing images instantly using ZINK

by Gavril Mankoo

Polaroid, the American makers of the instant camera from the past seems to have caught up with current day technology and has made an effort not to step down from a shutterbug’s shopping list with this latest release, a digital camera capable of printing photos instantly! Called the Z2300, this camera quickly prints out pictures you’ve taken and uses ink-free Zero Ink (ZINK) printing technology for the 2×3-inch prints. Using the principals of thermal printing, the pictures taken are moisture and UV resistant and don’t smudge too easily, making them truly long-lasting memories frozen in time! Priced at $159.99, the camera uses a 50-sheet pack of ZINK paper priced at $24.99 or a $14.99 30-sheet pack and is indeed a perfect mashup of current day technology with gadgetry from the days gone by.
