Philips Emotion jacket lets you feel the movie
A while back we covered Philips answer to interactive advertising via its Lumalive Textile made jackets. Now Philips wants you to feel the odd tap on the shoulder while you watch a horror movie, or the punch from Bruce Lee. The Philips Emotion Jacket was designed by the company’s senior scientist Paul Lemmens and a team of researchers. The jacket is equipped with a series of 64 actuators, clustered in groups of four along different parts of the torso and arms. It takes two AA batteries to power it up for an hour and I am, sure adding two more batteries won’t do much harm. So get ready to feel the pulse of a dying character on screen or even how a hug from your favorite starlet feels like.
