There’s some good news for the PC gamers. For those of you who envied the Xbox gamers for their easy availability to access Games on Demand, their digital distribution service for purchasing retail games online, they can breathe a sigh of relief. In its infinite generosity, Microsoft will now provide a service for the PC gamers through a new service called Games for Windows LIVE. The client for accessing the games is free of course and the line up includes a rather long list – Fallout 3, DiRT 2, Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter IV, Battlestations Pacific, FUEL, Viva Pinata, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, Shadowrun, Section 8, Juiced 2, and Red Faction: Guerrilla. The game Tinker is being offered for free and Viva Pinata and Shadowrun are currently being offered at 50% off. It seems like the PC gamers may just have a better deal here.
