Parrot’s wireless digital photo frame is the first one with Android

by Gareth Mankoo

Android has finally crept its way into digital photo frames now. With this fantastic offering by Parrot, we can expect more than just viewing and sending photographs across digital photo frames. We may as well see RSS feeds and weather updates on digital photo frames. The 10.4 inch frame has a dedicated email address to which you can send your images to. The frame displays these images. It also picks up images from sites like Flickr.com and Picasa. If you aren’t too cool about uploading you images on image sharing sites then try wirelessly sending them across using Wi-fi, Bluetooth, USB or SD cards.

With all these features you can well expect the price of this frame to be something as high as $650. It’s called the Grande Specchio and is designed by Martin Szekely.
