If you thought that 85-inch displays were the real trip then here’s a reality check. Panasonic and NHK have joined forces to roll out a stunning 145-inch Ultra High Definition Plasma Display. With resolutions of 7860×4320 pixels, supported effortlessly, you know that we’re seeing one of the world’s first with such capabilities. The images, streamed at 60fps, are so crisp and clear, they seem more real than a 3D display too!

If you want to catch a glimpse of this special wonder of the world then do pop into NHK’s Science and Technology Research Laboratories, in Tokyo, from May 24th to 27th.
