Panasonic Announces Total Body Real Time Massage Chair Real Pro EP-MA100 with Large Touch Screen

Panasonic Japan today announced its most advanced premium full body massage chair Real Pro EP-MA100. The massage chair that loosens the entire body from the foot to the neck will be available in Japan from August 1st for approximately 500,000 yen ($4600), Taxes extra. The new Panasonic massage chair comes with a user-friendly large, easy-to-see touch-type operation panel. Gone are the days of complex push button arrangements. The easy-to-see screen and easy-to-understand operation make it possible to operate the massage chair without stress regardless of generation.


The Panasonic full body massage chair Real Pro EP-MA100 comes with airbags to the back of the upper arm, one each on the left and right for the massage of both upper hands. The massage chair comes with a new feature, where you can select your favorite massage easily from the touch screen. Massage progress is displayed in real time to the user.

The forearm massage part has also been changed to a new shape that enhances the ease of putting in the arm and the comfort. The length of the airbag is increased by about 90 mm, and it is possible to massage the entire forearm from the palm widely. Robotic engineering enable internal massage heads to provide a total range of massaging motion to replicate the dexterities of the human hand for a more natural, relaxing and effective massage experience

When not in reclining mode, the chair measures about 85 × 130 × 120 mm (width × depth × height), weighs about 87 kg. Power consumption is 135W. A recliner of up to 170 degrees is available. The timer is up to about 19 minutes. Panasonic full body massage chair Real Pro EP-MA100 is available in color, ivory, Luxor beige colors and three different shades in black.
