One cookie, seven flavors with Meta Cookie AR headgear
This is where science fiction meets reality. When you’ve got a headset that makes you’re brain believe you’re eating a chocolate chip cookie when you’re actually eating a butter scotch, you know things are getting a little crazy (cue Twilight Zone music). This headgear is called Meta Cookie and was created at the University of Tokyo. Thanks to the technology of augmented reality, the Meta Cookie system uses cameras and aromas o trick the brain into believing that your eating one flavor when your actually east some other. The set up allows wearers to experience the taste of up to seven different flavors from one single ‘host’ cookie. What a great idea for a bakery where all you need is one cookie and flavors of all others and of course the headgear.
