Olympus Stylus SH-2 point-and-shoot camera goes retro
The Olympus Stylus SH-2 has done what we’re seen done way too many times in the past. The point-and-shoot camera has been styled in all the bulky retro glory that cameras in its genre are meant to come in. Everything, from the strap to the elaborate body of the camera cannot help but reminisce the good old days of shooters, before the mobile phone was everyone’s primary shooting device. It offers a 16-megapixel sensor, 24x optical zoom, a RAW capture mode, 5-axis stabilization, Wi-Fi and the ability to shoot 1080p video footage at an impressive 60 fps. Most of the features remind us of the predecessor to this camera, albeit, with a few enhancements in the offing.
The Olympus Stylus SH-2 will be available in black and silver and set you back $400. The carrying case that looks suited to the camera and anyone who would purchase it will be sold separately. It is expected to arrive next month.
