NTTDoCoMo shows mobile phones of the future
Touch interface may be the latest buzzword in our mobile networks but not for the Japanese who are light years ahead of us in mobile technology (all technologies in fact). NTTDoCoMo Japan’s largest mobile carrier has announced the P905iTV and SH905iTV which will be hitting Japan early next year. The phones manufactured by Panasonic and Sharp features 3.5 inch displays whcih make use of propreitery technologies used in their Veira and Aquos LCD TV’s. The screens have a resolution of 480×854 and will support 30 fps videos. The phones will come with onboard TV tuners with support for EPG so you can program the phone to record TV programming. Coming to music the SH905i will be the world’s first mobile phone to support Dolby Mobile standard for enhanced audio playback.
All we can do is wait, watch and pray for such features to come on our mobile phones one day.
