Nokia Storyplay is a wooden e-reader for kids

by Dhiram Shah

Nokia have rolled out something quite different from their usual offerings. The Storyplay e-reader for kids gives a new take on storytelling and reading of books. It will feature Elmo from Sesame Street on a removable paper book that’s attached with magnets. At the head of the reader, there will be two screens. One will display Elmo and his antics continually while the second screen will display a live video screen (of God knows what).

Surely, you’re not getting this one if your kid’s scared of the hairy beast. Elmo used to creep me out when I was young. Leave alone teach me to read.
