Nokia Drive Windows 7 phone packs offline browsing
by Gareth MankooNokia is surely playing tempter with the Nokia Drive Windows 7 phone that packs something cool and rarely seen before. They have upgraded their turn-by-turn navigation that worked surprisingly well in Lumia phones. The good thing that this has done for mobile users, especially loyalists of the Finnish brand, is offline navigation. With this, users do not need to be continuously connected to the Internet. They can use features like maps even in offline mode by downloading these in advance. So when at a Wi-Fi hotspot they can conveniently do the needful.
This whole fuss is worth it, given that your phone wouldn’t be juicing out the battery as it continuously exchanges packets of data to and from your phone. Nokia advises users to uninstall the beta version of Nokia Transport and then install the new one.
