Nokia 7088 CDMA launched under L’Amour Collectionby Dhiram Shah
Rumors about the Nokia 7088 can now calm down. It continues to push the envelope in phone designs with yet another CDMA fashion handset under the L’Amour Collection. Nokia has officially launched the Nokia 7088 which is not only the first CDMA model in the popular L’Amour Collection, but also the first slider version of this fashion collection. Form remains modern, round and pure. An earthy palate of color and traditional materials, updates the bohemian feel of the earlier collection. Its jewel-like select key and carefully sculpted directional pad set into a metallic frame is worth seeking it. The front and the back are draped with the audacious leather textures. “The Nokia L’Amour Collection has been enthusiastically received by design minded individuals around the world. We are pleased to be able to bring this bold expression of style and taste to CDMA customers,” said Larry Paulson, vice president and general manager of Nokia’s CDMA business. This much-sought after design offers a video recorder, camera with LED flash, 128 x 160 pixel color display, two-way speakerphone, voice recorder and calendar. For the browsers on the move, it also features a built-in mobile browser that can be used to access information.
Probably this latest CDMA fashion phone will be available in Asia/Pacific, Middle East, Africa, China and Latin America during the 2nd quarter of 2007.
