Nintendo 3DS can be switched to 2D mode if your head hurts
by Shayne Rana
More on the Nintendo 3DS front says that not only with it be backward compatible of course, but it’s going to be designed like Samsung’s 3D TV’s. What that means is you’ll be able to switch off the 3D mode if and when you so desire. At least that’s what Nintendo president Satoru Iwata said. The reason is of course the safety concern of the gamers like Samsung who also issued safety precautions for their TVs 3D mode. Prolonged 3D viewing can have quite a few side-effects like headaches, nausea, eye irritation etc. So naturally Nintendo has provided this option keeping in mind all the little kiddies who might like the idea of a portable 3D gaming platform, but not realize the effects. We should know more at E3 that’s fast approaching.
