New My Book World Edition Network Hard Drives with storage capacities of 1 and 2 TB
by anoop
The world leader in external storage solutions introduced its newly redesigned My Book World Edition network storage drive, simplifying the critical but tedious task of backing up of entire household’s precious files. The new drive will be compatible with PCs and Mac computers. All you have to do is to plug the drive into a network router, click a few buttons and the storage device backs up files from all the PCs and Macs on the network. Any changes to the files on these computers are automatically and continuously backed up to the drive. Some of the notable features are Media server capability with DLNA 1.5 and UNnP certification to stream content to Xbox, PS3, remote sharing of personal content with family and friends, high-speed data transfer with Gigabyte Ethernet and a 3-year limited warranty.
The My Book World Edition network hard drives are available currently in the 1TB storage capacity and later this month, the 2 TB capacities will be available. The price for the 1TB is US $229.99 and 2TB will be US $449.99.
