NEC Lavie X 15.6-inch Ultrabook touted as world’s thinnest

With a thinness of just 12.8 mm, the Lavie X by NEC happens to live up to the hype of being the world’s thinnest 15.6-inch Ultrabook. With dimensions of 375 x 255 x 12.8 mm, this 1.59 kilogram piece of lughtness will be powered by an Intel Core i7-3517u CPU, with 4GB RAM, 256GB SSD and Windows 8 64-bit as the OS of choice. Additionally, the Lavie X will resond the essence of luxury with an LED backlit IPS LCD screen (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution), two USB 3.0 ports, 802.11 b/g/n WLAN, Bluetooth 4.0 +HS, HDMI display-output, SDHC/SDXC card slot, and a 2-megapixel web-camera.

NEC Lavie X 15.6-inch Ultrabook will be made available on December 27.
