Motorola i850 Camera Phone now available on Nextel

Nextel and Motorola yesterday announced the Motorola i850, a feature-rich camera phone that combines enhanced communication features with a compact, sleek design. The Group Connect from service enables group walkie-talkie conversations with up to 21 participants nationwide, and the groups can be directly set up on the handset within seconds. The Direct Talk service allows short-range walkie-talkie communications in areas without network coverage, depending on specific conditions such as terrain. Nextel Direct Send allows users to send contact information to another Direct Send capable phone within seconds simply by pushing the walkie-talkie button. The Motorola i850 is available through all Nextel distribution channels, including retail stores, at a price of $224.99, with a two-year service agreement
