Microsoft’s phone now prototyped

by Gareth Mankoo

If you’ve been craning your neck long enough into the tech space you must’ve caught some wind of the Kin coming along and dying and all the drama that followed at Microsoft’s last, well, chapter that we saw. They ain’t slowing down cowboy, they’re totally into the works and may be we do not know about it for real but the prototype of the Microsoft ‘Menlo’ seems quite a good looking one. It will probably have a capacitive touchscreen that measures a good 4.1 inches, Microsoft Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R2 with a Bosch BMA150 3-axis accelerometer and Bosch BMP085 digital pressure sensor (barometer). There will of course be some additional features like the Greenfield app that will help users find where their cars are parked in a parking lot. Yes, that surely means it’s all GPS enabled and all.
