Microsoft files patent infringement complaint against Moto
by Gareth MankooIf you’ve been wondering why Microsoft and Apple earnestly make a dash at new innovations with patent declarations then this is why. Someone or the other happens to use these patents in their devices, unaware (either by choice or ignorance) that it is a patented thingy. Thus suffer Motorola the wrath of Microsoft who claim that the former have infringed patent rules and have hence move ITC. There are a total of nine patent infringements that Microsoft has complained about. These include “synchronizing email, calendars and contacts, scheduling meetings, and notifying applications of changes in signal strength and battery power.”
And to add to the perfect dose of gossip, it seems that Microsoft have done so against the Android devices that Motorola have. Delicious! Next!
