Microsoft Windows 8.1 Blue updates reveal return of Start button
by Gareth MankooIt’s evident that Windows 8 was a pretty anticipated piece of OS but surely enough, we could not base our suppositions on it being the ultimate. The ‘Start’ button for once was missing and loyal Windows users did not like that one bit. So there was always bound to be the next best version that would heal the wounds caused by that empty spot. Welcome in the possibility of the next best OS from Microsoft as some new of Windows 8.1 Blue specifications roll in. Firstly, they have reintroduced the Start button. It looks familiar to how Start 8 appears and makes us all smile (and go right back to finding the currently crucial button on the keyboard). In fact, the guys at Microsoft have tried their little play with colors. Based on a post by Mary Jo, ‘When you hover over Start button, the button changes color, with a black background and the accent color used on the flag logo.’ Triggering the Switcher tool will make the Start button appear where the Start tip appears in the current version.
Also, the Milestone Preview (MP) build of Windows 8.1 has no way to do away with the stubborn Start button. The sweet thing is that you will be able to use your desktop wallpaper as the Start background too by changing the default settings.
