Media Block Chair – Multipurpose illuminated and interactive cubes

TeamLab recently came up with a fantastically versatile and illuminated piece of furniture called the Media Block Chair. In essence a cube that can be hooked on to other cubes of its type to form different pieces of furniture including seating arrangements like chairs and benches, the Media Block Chair also doubles up as a pedestal to showcase your stuff.

The design incorporates three protruding sides and three indented sides. This allows each of the Media Block Chairs to be joined with others. These blocks change colors when connected and add to the overall aesthetic value of a room or environment they are placed in. When not in use, the Media Block Chair works as an interactive lighting installment!
