Mac OS X 10.7 Lion announced for summer 2011

Now that we already have an army of Mac devices coming at us from all directions, we may well do with the news of an OS update as well. Behold, the Mac OS X 10.7 Lion is here with ample multi-touch gesture for you to play around with. There’s also word that there is support for full-screen applications like those made for the iPad. Last but not the least, this will also herald the launch of an App Store for OS X. This store will be available for Snow Leopard within about three months from today. From the looks of it, the Lion seems to have an UI that’s highly inspired from the iPad, with a grid of icons to choose your applications from.


The Mac OS X 10.7 Lion is expected to roll out in the summer of 2011. Till then, let’s feast our eyes and senses on the new Macs that floating around the circuit.
