London goes green with the Renault Fluence Z.E. as their first zero-emission cabs
by ruchiLondon seems to be on the fore-front of the go-green movement with its first all-electric minicab, a Renault Fluence Z.E., making a debut just a few days ago. These taxis are operated by eco cab company Climatecar which has made it available for public transportation months before they are available for sale to general public. Powered by a 94hp electric motor, these cabs will travel up to 115 miles on a single charge. Also there is news UK is now going to have more electric vehicle charging points than the actual number of electric vehicles. Also, to encourage their use, these will be charging the same fare as normal cabs in London.
