LG introduces the first ever 4G modem
While some part of the world is still waiting for 3G networks on their mobile phones, LG has gone a step ahead and introduced the first-ever LTE USB Modem at CommunicAsia 2009 in Singapore. The LTE USB m is capable of data transfers of up to 100 Mbps which is faster than any 3G network available today. But since 4G / LTE networks are not yet commercially available, LG has not revealed any details regarding the expected availability of the product in global market. However, Verizon is expected to start offering LTE service by 2010, until then we’ll have to wait and watch for LG’s next offering.
