LG announces netbook with UI that takes seconds to load

LG Electronics has just announced a new addition to their product line-up with the launch of their very first netbook the LG X120. The first of its kind from LG, the netbook gives users a shortcut to the fun stuff with a unique Smart On interface that makes staying connected a lot easier as it’s designed to load up in mere seconds. Google Chrome OS must be sitting upright with a shock right now. It’s a light-weight device at just 2.8lbs. It features 1GB RAM and comes with a 160GB hard drive with a 10.1″ LED backlit screen. It also has a A built-in 1.3 megapixel camera and HD stereo speakers.


The Smart On interface will allow users to connect to the web and photos, instant messaging and the MP3 player with just the touch of a button. Designed with a white matte exterior and blue trim, the LG X120 is aid to deliver up to 7 hours of battery life and comes with built-in AT&T 3G wireless connectivity. The LG X120 also includes a traditional start up feature booting the complete Windows XP Operating system The LG netbook will be available at select Radio Shack stores nationwide and online at www.RadioShack.com for $179.99 with a 2-year AT&T DataConnect service agreement and a $60 monthly 5GB plan. AT&T DataConnect subscribers also receive access to AT&T Wi-Fi service.
