LG to concentrate on OLED TV’s

Moving from CRT’s came LCD’s, followed by high definition panels, then came LED TV’s which were succeeded by 3D LED TV’s and next in line to change your so called TV viewing experience forever are OLED TV’s. LG is betting on these wafer thin TV’s heavily and is touting them as the growth engines of the future. LG is set to release its first OLED TV, the 55″ (the 55EM9600) in early 2013. The company is also planning to start mass producing plastic-based flexible OLED panels by the end of 2013.
