Lenovo K91 is the future of televisions runs on Ice Cream Sandwich

Lenovo has used this year’s CES event to mark it entry in the TV segment with the world’s first ever Android 4.0 driven TV set. Hailed as Lenovo K91 Smart TV, it will first begin shipping in China with specs like 1.5 Ghz Qualcomm’s 8060 Snapdragon processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, 2GB SD card, integrated 5MP webcam for facial recognition and parental controls (neat, huh?), 3-axis gyro gamepad, touchpad and an integrated microphone.


Owners will be able to access Lenovo’s yet-to-be-launched cloud services from the TV to stream personal media stored in the cloud. Lenovo is yet to out a word on its cloud plans but from the sound of it, we can hope that it will media and screen sharing across mobile, PC and TV devices. Lenovo says that the post the Chinese launch, it will bring the product to other countries later this year. No word on pricing though.
