LED Susan is a faucet with a colored temperature indicator

by Gareth Mankoo

LED Susan sounds like a pretty snappy name for a faucet. But what gives. This one’s got its share of novelty in functionality and design. The USP is the color temperature indicator that tells users when the water’s hot and when it’s cold. The black LED-lit button turns blue when the water temperature is below 26 degrees and turns red when it is above 38 degrees. This indicator can let you know about the temperature of the water in just 3 seconds.

It’s a great way to avoid burns by testing the temperature of the water with your palms. But hey, don’t we have the vapor to tell us about that.
