LaCie XtremKey is the most rugged pen drive

Instead of taking the zillion precautions you take to secure your pen drive and the data in it, why not go in for an uber-rugged, uber-tough drive itself. The LaCie XtremKey is submergible up to 100 meters and can brave temperatures from -58 degrees Fahrenheit to 400 degrees. It can also make it safely through 16 feet drops (that’s not really impressive). The most macho feature of the drive is that it can sustain the weight of a 10 ton truck that would roll over it, leaving not a sign of damage.

There are quite a few folks I know who could do with something as good as that. The drive comes in with 8 GB to 16 GB capacities. Expect it in August.
