Kyocera’s Android phone packs WiMax, TV and is waterproof
Japan’s leading telecom company KDDi has expanded its lineup and is offering the Kyocera Digno ISW11K running on Android Gingerbread 2.3.5. Targeted at young men and women, the phone packs in a super AMOLED 4.0″ touchscreen supporting a resolution of 480 × 800 pixels. A 1 Ghz Snapdragon with 2 GB of memory powers the phone which comes with a 8 megapixel back and 320k pixel front camera, GPS, Earthquake warning, Mobile Wallet and a One Seg digital TV tuner. Like popular Japanese phones this one is also waterproof and confirms to IPX5 / 7 waterproofing standards. The phone measures 128 × 65 × 8.7mm and weighs 130 grams and will be made available in black and pink colors.
