Korea developing 5G
Not many countries take the initiative to stay ahead of the rest in telecommunications technology and infrastructure. Korea is planning to invest $58,449,293 US for the next 3 years developing 4G technologies in hopes that an international standard can be set, while also working on 5G. For Korea to be number one is not unachievable as it already is exporting $29 billion worth of phones worldwide. A push to 4G and eventually 5G may be exactly what Korea needs to move to being number one. It’s hard to imagine the speeds we are gonna experience with 5G, but the wait is going to be a long one.
