KDDI INFOBAR C01 with ten-button keypad coming to Japan on Feb 3
by ruchiJapanese telecom giants have long earned a reputation to unveil never-seen-before stuff which might not always be practical but sure does serve a good dose of eye candy. KDDI’s recently unveiled INFOBAR CO1, its colorful Android driven smartphone with the classic ten-button keypad. This is something that would ordinarily see on feature phones but KDDI has combined this with Android goodness just for the Japanese folks.
Driven by Android Gingerbread, the phone has specs like 3.2-inch screen with 480×854 pixel resolution, 8MP CMOS camera, digital TV tuner, e-wallet, Infrared, USB, microSDHC ports and Bluetooth 3.0+EDR. The phone will be released on February 3 in Japan only for TBA price.
