KDDI Haptic touch screen unveiled at Ceatec
by ruchiKDDI Japan showed a prototype of its pressure-sensitive Haptic touch screen at Ceatec 2011 event which makes you feel as if you are actually pushing a button instead of just a flat surface. It works by responding to pressure and providing a sensation of clicking a keyboard button. This could very well bring in a new era for easier web browsing, not to mention the kind of thing it can do for our gaming buffs.
While speaking of the touchscreen, the folks from KDDI say this would be convenient for small links and lets the users know what they have chosen one. we still don’t have a date how soon it will get commercialized but we’re hoping its soon enough.
