Kameraflage Images Visible Only Through a Digital Camera
A new technology developed by Sarah Logie and Connor Dickie could revolutionize the way we look through our digicam. Quite contrary to removing the rosy-glasses, here you need to view the world through the digital camera. With the Kameraflage technology, one can view concealed texts and images printed on T-Shirts or billboards only via the digicam. It works by using colors that are invisible to the naked eye but easily picked up by the silicon chips in digital cameras. Another effective use of this technology could help curb piracy by watermarking videos and films with Kameraflage. A patented invisible light projector to help this cause is developed by Logie and Dickie.
More Kameraflage clothing will be demonstrated at the ACM SIGGRAPH Unravel fashion show on August 6 in San Diego.
