JVC Ultimate Audio CD for $2000

At a time when Audio CD’s are almost extinct JVC Japan has announced the Glass CD. Audio is recorded in 24 bit format using “K2HD mastering” technology which delivers optimum playback. To be made available in limited numbers the CD will contain work by noted Japanese artists. The Glass CD goes on sale by April for 180,000 Yen ($ 2000).
