Japan gets Resident Evil themed restaurant with life-size Tryant to freak us out

If you’re fascinated by all things sci-fi and like living it for real, then Japan is certainly the place for you to be where such theme hotels have became a standard. Latest to come up here is a Resident Evil restaurant in Shibuya, Tokyo by Video game publisher Capcom. This restaurant opened on July 13 will be up and running only for a year – it’s a limited time only establishment, but we guess it’ll freak us all out in this limited timeframe. Officially called the Biohazard Cafe and Grill, the Resident Evil restaurant has staff known as S.T.A.R.S ANGELIQUE serving you RE-themed food and beverages.

Besides this we learn the RE restaurant will also feature replica props, dancing girls and a one-to-one scale monument of Tyrant crafted by the Toei Company. Using 3D projection mapping technology the Tryant statue is brought to life which is shot down by S.T.A.R.S ANGELIQUE (staff) with phony S.T.A.R.S. guns to mimic the real Resident Evil experience. If you’re enthralled by the Biohazard Cafe and Grill concept then just head straight to Tokyo for a real Resident Evil experience.
