iTar app-and-accessory combo turns your iPad into a guitar for $200

by ruchi

After their famous GhostGuitar app, Starr Labs is taking their tablet-guitar obsession to the next level with their new iPad accessory called iTar. This thing springs in action by simply docking the tablet and followed by launching of the app. This accessory takes advantage of their patented button fretboard technology which might sound familiar to all the audiophiles out there. It has been known to be used by great musicians like the Chemical Brothers, Linkin Park, Lou Reed, and many TV/film studios and it would be the first time something like this was unveiled by the company for masses.

This will is sort of a kickstarter project for the company and they are selling these for prices starting at $200 a pop. The world would be a better place if only your tablets and smartphones could unfold themselves into can-do-anything droids.
