Is the Samsung Galaxy View really worth $599?

When you’ve got the specifications of a tablet cranked up you can well use the alibi to ensure that you bump the price up a bit, with a good screen promise and all. The 18.4-inch display screen that supports resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels. Well, where’s the promise of a mere 2K resolution that the aforementioned price could bring? None. You could however consider the 1.6 GHz octa-core processor and 2 GB RAM. Wait, what? What’s in it for someone seeking more power driven through additional memory? Weren’t 3 GBs the in-thing? Okay then, we can may be look at the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and hey, don’t forget the microSD memory expansion slot. And there’s that carrying handle that makes it ever portable. Yeah, that thing too for a tablet.

The device seems to be aimed at entertainment enthusiasts. But then again, are they the kind who would invest in 4K movies instead? At $599 for a 32 GB Wi-Fi only version, I think Samsung were being too optimistic.
