iriver’s N15-Jewel is the latest in techno-bling

by Shayne Rana

Gadgets have been worn as bling for a long time now and the latest accessory to the techno-ornament genre is iriver’s N15-Jewel 2GB wearable MP3 player. It features canal-type earphones and a necklace type carry solution. The front portion of the device has touch keys with LED lights that display information. The cap portion is covered in Swarovski crystals and is available in two colors options – with pink or champagne crystals. It’s loaded with iriver’s IESE (iriver extreme sound engine) technology to boost audio and comes with 5 EQ presets. It’s compatible with MP3/WMA/APE/FLAC and WA formats and also has a built in voice recorder and an FM radio with its own recording function. It hooks up to your PC via USB 2.0 for transferring your files and charging the device and the package includes the ‘iriver Plus3’ music management software. It weighs in at just 33g and is priced at 9,980 Yen which is about $108 (US). Not bad for a little bling with music.
