Iomega External USB 3.0 SSD Flash Drives come with plenty of goodies and a heavy price tag

Iomega is out with a brand new Solid State Drive that’s supposed to be as quick as it is slick. With USB 3.0 support and three capacities viz. 64GB, 128Gb and 256GB priced at $229, $399 and $749 respectively, these aren’t cheap, but Iomega has tried to sweeten the deal with a few additional services. All three of these new drives will feature speedy transfers with compatible devices and will come with a in 256-bit hardware encryption for those worried about data theft and such and will also be bundled with the Iomega Protection Suite for backup and protection. That’s not all, in case you’re a little paranoid about being clumsy and dropping it often, no problem, the metal cases they come in can withstand a drop from up to 10 feet. The Iomega External USB 3.0 SSD Flash Drive will also be Host Powered no additional power cable is required. But the big question is, are all of the extras still worth the hefty price tag?
