IOData Seg tuner turns your Apple and Android devices into a Tivo

Mobile TV is big in Japan, almost every mobile phone has it. Filling in the gap for iPhones, iPads and Samsung Galaxy phones sold in Japan is the GV-SC500/AI One-Seg tuner from IOData. This pocket sized tuner can stream audio / video over Wi-Fi and in addition to watching the programs you can also use the EPG (Electronic programming guide) to set remainders and record your favorite programs. The device works with iPhone 3GS and above, iPad / iPad 2, Second generation iPod Touch and Android devices running Froyo (2.3) and above. The built in battery provides 4 hours of viewing time. The SEG Clip measures 85 × 41 × 11mm, weighs 50 grams and will be available in Japan by the end of October for 11,500 Yen ($ 150).
