Inverted 1:6 scale helicopter works as a ceiling fan!

by Gavril Mankoo

Back when I was little, I considered the helicopter to be one of the breeziest ways to travel, given the fact that I mistook the rotor blade for a huge ceiling fan. Well, those were the days when the laws of physics failed to penetrate this imaginative little mind. Blending the concept of a helicopter rotor blade and a ceiling fan together lately, one Raffaele Lannello has come up with a spectacular addition to just about any living space. Using a 1:6 scale of the Hughes MD 500 helicopter simply inverted and attached to a ceiling, this imaginative designer also hooked this one up with a three-speed remote controller enabling you to adjust the speed of your helicopter-ceiling fan!
