Intel to bring forth world’s fastest SSD this autumn
by Gavril MankooAnd as computing turns faster than ever, Intel is finally fitting in the final bolts on its SSD, codenamed the Cherryville, which could, at its time of release, be the fastest SSD on market shelves. Based on a 25nm multi-level cell (MLC) NAND memory, this one might use a Marvell controller similar to the SATA 6Gbps Intel 510 edition SSD. Also, Windows have chosen to keep the controller details of its latest drive secret. Also, Intel seems pretty confident to have the quickest SSD until date, though we’d like to see a bit of competition sprout up by the time this one releases by autumn this year.
