Intel readies Sandy Bridge processor for Macbook 13″
by Gareth Mankoo
The much spoken about Sandy Bridge processor will be shortly making its way to the 13-inch Macbooks. What’s cool about these is the efficient performance and a CPU-GPU build that lead to good video compression capabilities and the replacement of the Nvidia graphics processors that are currently used. They score high with better price, performance and processing. Intel aren’t really the most familiar hardware vendor when it comes to the Apple brand and its derivatives.
The 15-inch and 17-inch models of the Macbook will pack AMD’s graphic processors. Intel will be glad to have scored a high note with the gizmo giants at last.
