IBM’s Think exhibition opens doors in New York
by Gavril MankooTo show off to the world its visions of the future, IBM recently pulled the veil of its Think exhibition. Hosted at the Lincoln Center on Jaffe Drive in New York, the exhibition namely has on display IBMs plans for the future world. The Data Wall, part of the exhibition, uses a digital 123-foot wall to display live data streaming from the systems surrounding the exhibit, be it traffic on Broadway or the air quality outside. The Immersive Film, made up of 40 seven-foot screens suspended in one media zone enables spectators to watch a 12-minute film in regards to progress. These screens then turn into touchscreens once the film ends and lets users interact with RFID chips and biomedical sensors! An exhibition like none other, IBM sure knows how to give its visitors a taste of the future.
