Hikari LED Light clock is the clock tower of the future
by Gareth Mankoo
Ever wondered how amazing it would be to watch a futuristic clock tower in our age? Well, you don’t really have to wait all those decades or go in search of a time machine. Simply make yourself visit the Seibu departmental store in Ikebukuro, Japan. It’s made up of eleven thousand LED bulbs that display the time all over the pillar-like clock. The clock is a creation by Yugo Nakamura and Yukihiro Takahashi.
Besides being a giant glistening timepiece the clock also plays some brilliant music as the store opens up. The guys at JapanTrends either have a keen eye or are very lucky to come upon something this beautiful.
